The prescription of medical cannabis for medical use was legalized in Germany in March 2017. There are different types of medicinal cannabis products found in Germany. According to Germany’s Federal Ministry of Health, sales have increased from 33.8 kg in the first six months of 2015 to 61.8 kg in the first six months of 2016.
